Rock N Roll Sushi to Expand Significantly in Central Florida

“We feel that Orlando is the ideal market for this concept, given its unique concept. I call it Americanized sushi given that most sushi places are quiet. We hope to introduce families and kids to sushi, people who may have otherwise only picked up sushi at Publix.”

Describing the concept, the report states “At Rock N Roll Sushi, fans enjoy food that’s deliciously twisted and made fresh for everyone. Boasting concepts and flavors that are big, bold and loud, Rock N Roll Sushi is the only place to experience the rock music you love and the rolls you love with the ones you love!”

“Everything about the American-style sushi restaurant, from its soundtrack to its soul, is pure rock ‘n roll – raw, inspired, amplified.”

What Now Orlando recently spoke to franchisee JD Weissfich to get the latest on this exciting new development.

“We feel that Orlando is the ideal market for this concept, given its unique concept. I call it Americanized sushi given that most sushi places are quiet. We hope to introduce families and kids to sushi, people who may have otherwise only picked up sushi at Publix.”

Weissfich articulates that the concept will be raucous and fun, full of lights, TVs, and rock music — but not quite like Hard Rock.

“Hard-Rock may have a rock feel, but they won’t have the lighting we’ll have — but it’s really a very unique concept.”

As Weissfich and company plan to open 35 locations throughout Florida, with 5-10 planned for the Orlando area, Weissfich currently only names one targeted area in particular.

“We have a potential interest in the Altamonte area, but we’re looking at the whole market, actively searching through all of Orlando. We have brokers submitting sites to us wherever they find them.”
