According to owner operator Luke Ryba, an additional Culver’s location will appear in a 4,500 square foot new construction with a double drive through at 1616 E Semoran Boulevard. The building will also feature a covered outdoor patio with about 40 seats. Ryba expects to employ between 70-80 team members in the area.

Culver’s, which originated in Sauk City, Wisconsin, is known for their burgers, custard and inviting Midwestern attitude. The mission of the forthcoming Apopka location, according to Ryba, is to “be a part of the community, whether if be to work with local schools and other organizations… and employ some great team members.”

Ryba works with Bowe Business Group, which was founded in 1994 and operates about 14 restaurants spread between Wisconsin, Minnesota and Florida. Beginning his career at the age of 16, Ryba worked his way up and “learned how to lead and teach” with the company.

Currently, Ryba is waiting on some permits to finalize before breaking ground on the new restaurant. He stated that they’d like to be open by the end of the summer of 2022, but also emphasized that “until [we] get that shovel in the ground” it is hard to give a firm timeline.
