The Orlando Business Journal recently reported that franchisee Jack Hillen submitted plans for a 4,578-square-foot location with two drive-thrus at 18996 US Highway 441. The Mount Dora location will be a new construction on now vacant land.
Hillen told the Orlando Business Journal that he hopes to begin construction in June, with a goal of completion at the end of the year. Right now, the plans are under review with the city development committee.
The Wisconsin-based Culver’s is also opening another outpost in Apopka, which we covered here, with a separate franchisee. In total, the chain has amassed 853 locations since they opened in 1984.

According to the report, the owner-operator of this location will be Christian Libel. What Now reached out to Hillen for details regarding the franchisee and owner-operator arrangement, but we have yet to hear back.
