According to a recent Facebook post, The Imperial’s Winter Park location has close and will be relocating in 2024.
“It’s a wrap!! We are officially closed,” the recent post states. “Thanks to everyone who showed up this weekend. It was a magical send off. We will be setting up the restaurant at our sister Imperial in Ivanhoe Village soon. We will be returning to Park Avenue in the Summer of 2024. Stay tuned for details.”
Owner John Washburn explained the move in a recent Bungalower article, stating “A new owner bought our building in Winter Park and has their own plans for that building so we had to relocate. The location that we are planning on moving to on Park Avenue is not ready until the summer of 2024 so we are moving the current Winter Park kitchen to our Ivanhoe location.”
“We are planning on keeping the restaurant open in Ivanhoe Village once we get that together but when our lease begins in Winter Park, we will move part of that staff there. The goal is to keep the restaurant component open in Ivanhoe Village, and also open on Park Ave. “
No exact opening date has yet been announced.
