“We’re a hibachi restaurant, a Japanese steakhouse; we’re going to have a sushi bar; we’re going to have Teppanyaki chefs come out and perform,” co-owner Parker Sexton tells What Now Orlando.

When asked why this location in Leesburg was chosen, Mr. Sexton responds with a simple answer.

“My family lives close by; this is near our home.”

Sexton and co’s inspiration to open a Japanese steakhouse came, in large part, from the family’s lifelong love of Japanese food.

So, when will Fire open?

“We don’t have a timeframe yet, but we’re looking at anywhere between two-three months from now—just a guess, though.”

“At The Fire, we pride ourselves on serving authentic Japanese cuisine made with the freshest ingredients. Our restaurant was founded in 2024 by Ronnie and his two sons, Parker and Hunter, mentored by executive chef Joshido John who has 34 years of experience. Our goal is to share our passion for hibachi! Do Mo Arigato!,” the official website states.
