The report states that Tom’s Watch Bar signed a lease for the top-floor restaurant space at Hollywood Plaza Parking Garage on International Drive in March 2022 and has been engaged in buildout of the space over the past two years.

“Now it appears even more may be in store for the anticipated sports bar concept atop the nine-story garage,” it states.

Citing a request filed March 4 in Orange County by James E. Cheek of Winter Park law firm Winderweedle Haines Ward & Woodman P.A. on behalf of building owner Hollywood Plaza Garage Realty LLC, OBJ reports the plan is to “add 16,500 of parking garage space to the new restaurant’s existing footprint of around 11,000 square feet.”

“As outlined in the request, the space would be used to make room for additional amenities including a mezzanine, a beer garden, a raised stage area and spaces for outdoor games.”

“Ever since we designed the building, my father and I knew that top floor was grade level and could be a magnificent rooftop activation that would enhance the restaurant space up there,” saidJoshua Wallack, owner and landlord of Hollywood Plaza.

“We shared this sentiment with our tenant, Tom’s Watch Bar, and their amazing entertainment options and vision for the space really blew us away. We believe this use is sensational for the district, it’s eclectic and world-class.”
