Plans are getting underway to place a new food truck park and gathering space along South US Highway 17-92 in Fern Park. According to a report by Orlando Business Journal, the project is led by V 3 Capital Group and is in its early stages of approval by Seminole County.
Based in Apopka, V 3 Capital Group is a real estate firm specializing in retail, senior housing, and office developments and offers property management, brokerage, plus development and construction management, among other services. The group operates the senior living community Strive at Fern Park set directly behind the .81 acre proposed food truck site which they acquired at the start of the year.
Included at the site known as Food Fare will be a 1,250-square-foot building, space allotted for food trucks, and outdoor seating accommodations for guests.
Trey Vick, CEO of V 3 Capital Group, tells What Now Orlando the firm plans to operate the location themselves. Reports also share the group is interested in expanding the Food Fare concept with a second location in Cocoa Beach.
While progress on Food Fare is in its early stages, an opening timeline of Summer 2023 is expected. Stay updated with the project by following V 3 Capital Group on Facebook.
