As one of the concepts inhabiting the 10,000-square-foot space, UniGirl restaurant will serve a Japanese rice ball dish called onigiri.

“William Shen, chef partner of Japanese udon restaurant Zaru — the first phase of the new market complex — oversees the menu and operations of UniGirl, the name of which was inspired by Shen’s pet dog Uni,” the report states.

“Besides the made-to-order onigiri that can be filled with different vegetables, fish and meats, it also will offer Japanese drinks and snacks.”

“We want to bring fresh experiences to Orlando, and the city, especially Mills 50, happens to be a place where people are very welcoming to new ideas,” Johnny Tung said in a prepared statement. “We’re hoping to attract locals and visitors alike.”

While no opening date has been set, the concept is expected to open this summer.
