It will be the third North Italia restaurant in Florida. The others are in Dadeland and Miami. The restaurant chain is a subsidiary of the Cheesecake Factory that is based in Calabasas, California. North Italia was acquired by the Cheesecake Factory in 2019. The Orlando location is a corporate-owned store, according to a person training employees at the new location.

The restaurant offers house-made pizzas, salads, sandwiches and other dishes. All of its locations have their own menus. It also boasts a large assortment of wines, beer and cocktails.
