Owner Alberto Cisneros spoke to What Now on Friday to discuss his plans to open up a speakeasy that will be next door to his downtown Leesburg eating and drinking establishment, Brick & Barrel Public House at 209 W Main St. Next to Brick & Barrel is the new yoga studio, which Cisneros owns as well.

The yoga studio, named Euphoria, is the vestibule to the speakeasy. How to get yourself from working out to drinking and eating appetizers in a secret room is still not entirely clear. As Cisneros described, the yoga gym operates as a fully functional studio, and those wishing to find the speakeasy will have to mention a code or password (which will be posted on Facebook) to the receptionist to be allowed to search for a way into the bar. “You have to know how to get in,” Cisneros said.

Waiting on some permits to be approved before finishing the work on the space, Cisneros estimates opening in “a month or so.”
