Founded on the Caribbean island of Aruba in 1993, La Granja has since then become a growing chain in the State of Florida. Narrating the company story, their website states that “La Granja Margate was opened in 1995 and since then we haven’t stopped. We have locations from Miami to Orlando. Our name has become very popular and our service and food a success. In 2007 we began to offer our franchises. The first franchise was opened in Kendall. Now we have 9 franchises in different areas of South Florida.”

La Granja’s simple menu consists of chicken, steak, pork, and seafood plates with side offerings of white rice, yuca, plantains, black beans, and french fries. It is also notable that the brand offers fresh juices in mango, passion fruit, and peach flavors.

Until the new La Granja opens its doors, curious foodies can find La Granja on Semoran Boulevard and Chickasaw Trail.
