“Steeped in the beauty and culture of their native Colombia, proprietors, Olga Raad and Juan Diego Isaza were destined to recreate their culinary heritage in America,” the official website states.

“Informed by passion and the sense memory of their mothers’ kitchens, Pio Pio Orlando was born 20 years ago. During that time they built a loyal clientele in the city, comprised of locals and the thousands of visitors flowing through Central Florida each year. Everyone, in their own way, formed new sense memories and carried them back to homes, near and far.”

Pio Pio’s varied menu features well-known Latin American classics such as ceviche, lomo saltado, chaufa rice, grilled whole chicken and a decent lineup of seafood such as calamari, shrimp, snapper, and more.

No information is yet available on the upcoming location apart from the cryptic “coming soon” on the brand’s official website. Until it opens, eager readers can sample Pio Pio at 5803 Precision Drive along with Ocoee and Boynton Beach.
