Per plan review filings with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, a concept called Gia Manco’s is planned for the Barefoot Bay community.
Co-owner Ninette Ierome spoke with What Now on Monday to confirm details. Gia Manco’s will be a small neighborhood restaurant serving baked goods and other common foods and snacks. They will also provide take-out for their guests. According to the filing, expect to find it at 311 Barefoot Boulevard. It’ll be neighbors of Jest Desserts and Barefoot Bay Realty.
According to Ierome, the concept is in the licensing phase, and she expects that they will open in a month or so, depending on how long it takes to finalize the licenses. An official opening date has not been set.
Ierome is also a beautician and hairdresser. In the past, she has owned other restaurants. She intends for this concept to cater directly to the local beach-going community.
