Family Owned Breakfast and Lunch Concept Due in Cocoa Beach

Whisk & Grind is coming to the area by way of Suzanne Altreche, her husband Darren, and their daughter and son-in-law Breanne and Brandon. The troupe hails from Las Vegas and owns five restaurants there by the name “The Cracked Egg.”

The concept will be located at 401 N Atlantic Avenue, and the group is still in the process of acquiring permits to begin construction. Altreche estimates that they will have the doors open by June or July

Locals and expect a full service breakfast and lunch experience, along with a full-service Peet’s Coffee drive through bar. Altreche reports that this concept will be similar to their Vegas restaurants, but not quite the same. 

According to plan review filings with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the company has had a plan review “in process” since the first of March. 

In Cocoa Beach, the restaurant will be around the corner from Ocean Landings Resort and Racquet Club, 4th Street Fillin Station Bar and Jazzy’s Mainely Lobster.
