Perez said that nothing is in concrete yet and although they do not have a date yet, they are hoping to open as soon as possible, with the end of this year as a goal for a grand opening.

Perez commented on how the community has been ecstatic about the return of Colonial Lanes has been long-awaited and they have a ton of different ideas they’re going through and testing out for the bowling alley.

“We’re super excited, this is what we love to do,” said Perez.

Colonial Lanes was closed in 2018 and been picked up and put down by various real estate agencies until now. At the time, the bowling alley was home to 32 lanes that even had leagues, pro shops, a restaurant, bar and pool tables, a great experience for any type of fun.

Team Market Group was created by brothers Keith and Romi Mawardi in 2005 and owns, develops, and operates tons of entertainment outlets and venues in Florida, with a home base and focus on Orlando. Their motto is, “together everyone achieves more.”

Team Market Group operates some of the big-name entertainment mongrels such as Tier Nightclub, The Wellborn Boutique Hotel, Ono Nightclub, and The Robinson Cocktail Room.

For now, Colonial Lanes will continue to reside at 400 Primrose Drive. We’re excited to see how Colonial Lanes will grow while in the capable hands of Team Market Group and what they’ll do to bring it back and get them out of the gutters.
