“Oficina de Tortas was born from a dream that began when its owner was 9 years old in Bahia,” a report in Brazil’s UOL.

“At the time, she was responsible for making the joy of meals in her home: desserts. From then on, family and friends began to receive praise for his performance in the culinary sweet.”

“After many studies, hours of watching television cooking programs and, later, taking several courses in the capital of São Paulo, he decided to share with the population of Brasília and the surrounding area the wonders of his artisanal pies.”

“It was in July 2003 that the doors of the store opened, which began with 21 different flavors and now exceeds 50, based on creams, various fruits, different ingredients, such as Belgian chocolate, which have won the loyalty of its clientele and which challenge the most refined palates in the country’s capital.”

As of now Oficina de Tortas has not premiered a US website or revealed its upcoming Orlando menu, but readers can reasonably expect pastries, sweets, and some light dishes.

No opening date has been announced.
