The expanded menu for breakfast includes shakshuka, a tomato ragout with poached eggs, thyme and feta; and huevos rancheros with roasted tomato salsa, black bean pico de gallo, avocado mash, and cotija cheese, served with flour tortillas. Lunch now also features a range of sandwiches– from traditional Cuban sandwiches to turkey bacon avocado – in addition to a variety of soups and salads, like a roasted beet salad with spinach, walnuts, vegan feta and balsamic dressing. Specialty brunch items include eggs benedicts, and signature popovers, a tall, flaky, buttery and light pastry served with maple butter.

The Winter Park location has been home to Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. for nearly its entire 43-year history and is known for its beautiful courtyard.

“This space has been an important part of our history as an Orlando-born coffee roaster. And today, this transformation also represents the continued evolution of Barnie’s, as we continue to explore and experiment with bold flavors but keeping what makes Barnie’s a favorite – consistently high-quality, flavorful coffee that everyone can enjoy at our cafés or at home,” said Scott Uguccioni, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. in a statement.

Recently, the company created Fueled by Barnie’s, a collection of partner-operated cafés that brings the flavors Barnie’s is known for to select businesses in Central and North Florida. This includes a new café at Orlando International Airport new Terminal C, which opened in late 2022. And later this year, a new Fueled by Barnie’s café will open at the John C. Hitt Library in the University of Central Florida’s main campus. Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. also partnered with UCF to create three exclusive Knightro blends – a Knightro Blend dark roast, a Knightro Blend medium roast and the chocolate-and-caramel-flavored UCF Pegasus blend – and for every bag sold, will donate a portion of the proceeds back to the university to support programs that help students with food insecurities.
