The location it has secured was formerly occupied by Johnny’s Diner. The team is still in the very early planning stages, so there aren’t many details to share at press time, Bryan says. However she did share that the team is ironing out its construction and permit plans. The brand has humble beginnings, starting out as a simple pushcart serving espresso and sharing their favorite tunes in downtown Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1992, operated by Dan and Travis Boersma.  Its first franchise opened in 2000, quickly spreading throughout the northwest and now has hundreds throughout the country.

“Dutch Bros provides a unique coffee experience that you don’t see anywhere else,” Bryan says. “Dutch Bros strives to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. We’re excited to introduce Dutch Bros and show Orlando what we’re all about!”

It is known for its creatively handcrafted drinks ranging from its iced Palm Beach green tea to its chocolate crunch freeze, chocolate crunch cold brew, and its blended shark attack energy drink.

In 2007 the company started an annual charity event called Drink One for Dane after its founder Dane Boersma was diagnosed with ALS. Proceeds are given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
