“I used to VP of BB King’s Blues Club on I Drive,” owner Curt Peery tells What Now Orlando. “I really like the area and we’re hoping to capture both local customers and convention business as well.”

Peery’s description of the concept promises an exciting shake-up to the Orlando food and beverage landscape.

“It’s a New Orleans-inspired cajun restaurant. We have really good gumbo, our biscuits are amazing. We’ll have live music as well. It’s a really unique concept to the Orlando area.”

Readers should note that the development is in early stages and that Peery and company do not yet have a set opening date.

“We just got our permits and started construction now. As development, we’ll be sure to announce the opening date.”

Until the Orlando Voodoo Bayou opens, eager readers may visit their two existing locations in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach Gardens.
