According to Schnurr, the company has 19 open locations and 80 currently under development. This will be the brand’s first appearance in Florida. They are planning to expand into California for the first time as well, according to this QSR report.

In an interview with What Now, Schnurr spoke about what attracted him to Rise: “some of the things that checked my boxes were one, the hours. This is a seven to two o’clock operation, breakfast and lunch. Secondly, the southern biscuit menu plays on all favorites in the fast-casual category. But one of the things I really love is automation. They have an automation that before COVID was put in place for cashless ordering.”

Schnurr, who has extensive experience owning multiple businesses, will run the unit with the support of his family. He estimated that the first unit will be open in “four to five months.” However, Schnurr did not have a location to share. He mentioned that most of the units will be in shopping centers.

According to this QSR report, Schnurr is expected to open at least seven locations, but is aiming for 20 units over the next five years.

The company serves primarily southern-style breakfast fare, offering chicken, fried green tomato, sausage and numerous other parings on biscuits. They will also serve coffee and doughnuts.
