“Our new restaurant will open in a new development on Highway 50, just half a mile east of the U.S. 27/Highway 50 intersection,” Portillo’s announced in a recent news release.

“Designed with a Florida garage theme, the 7,700-square-foot restaurant will have seating for 170 guests inside and an additional 50 [seats] on the outdoor patio. It will also feature our signature double drive-thru lanes to serve our guests however they want their Portillo’s fix.”

What Now Orlando reached out to representatives to gather more information about this exciting new development in the central Florida food and beverage landscape, but did not receive responses by time of publication.

Readers unfamiliar with the brand can expect a classic American fast-casual concept with a strong Chicago influence, serving hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, italian beef, salads, and pasta.

No opening date has yet been announced.
