Margaritaville Planning $65 Million Riverfront Complex in Melbourne

Compass by Margaritaville Resort to Feature Hotel, Restaurant, Marina, and Outdoor Music Venue

News recently broke that Margaritaville is planning a huge new addition to their family by way of a hotel and resort on the Indian River Lagoon in Melbourne, FL. According to BuffetNews, the project is estimated to cost around $65 Million to produce and is led by Florida-based Mirpuri Group

The targeted site is on Harbor City Boulevard on the Indian River, purchased by Mirpuri in 2017. The project will spotlight the Compass by Margaritaville Resort complete with a restaurant, marina, and a 20,000-square-foot venue for music and entertainment acts. 

There are currently 3 other Compass by Margaritaville projects coming soon in Medford, Oregon, Beaufort, North Carolina, and Louisville, Kentucky. Compass Hotel and Marina in Anna Maria Sound, Florida is now open for guests to partake in Margaritaville’s signature beachgoer vibes. 

The Compass boutique hotel concepts are all about relaxing in paradise and feature deluxe hotel accommodations and nearby excursions. The new location will bring in new elements to further elevate the resort experience, including a rooftop bar called The Salty Rim. The site will also highlight casual and fine dining options with a two-level restaurant experience with views of the water.

The project is currently in its concept stage and have submitted zoning approvals. Construction will begin mid-2022, the Hotel and Marina are projected to open in Fall 2024. Get to know Compass by Margaritaville now by visiting their Website
