The national Ohio-based chain Marco’s Pizza will soon be expanding into Sanford, according to recent public records. The location will be found at 1510 South French Avenue, within suite E2, at the Sanford Towne Square.
What Now Orlando reached out to franchisee Chris Boesch to inquire about timeframes for the upcoming location, but he was not immediately available for comment.
Founded in Oregon, Ohio in 1978 by Pat Giammarco, Marco’s Pizza has become a highly successful fast-casual pizza restaurant, with over 1,100 stores in the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. Apart from the eponymous pizza, the brand also serves pizza bowls, salads, cheezy bread, and a chicken club. For dessert, customers may enjoy cinnasquares, or cinammon-and-sugar dusted pizza bread.
Until the Sanford Marco’s Pizza finally opens its doors, readers can find at least a dozen outposts in the Orlando metropolitan area.
