“We’ll be serving upscale bar food with a twist. More flavorful, more exciting options. It’ll be an evolving menu, but we’ll start with wings, burgers, handhelds, shrimp cocktails, with an emphasis on flavor and quality.”

“We’ll be serving upscale bar food with a twist,” owner John Khalil tells What Now Orlando. “More flavorful, more exciting options. It’ll be an evolving menu, but we’ll start with wings, burgers, handhelds, shrimp cocktails, with an emphasis on flavor and quality.”

When asked if this will be his first venture in the restaurant industry, Khalil says it is not.

“I’ve had bars in the past. My business partners and I bought Enzo’s on the Lake in Longwood and then this opportunity came up and I couldn’t say no. It’s just a gorgeous location. We’re currently re-doing everything, repainting, installing brand new TVs. Even though it’s not a sports bar it will be a great place to watch sporting events.”

But perhaps the most standout detail about the upcoming establishment is the fact that Michelin Chef Michael Collantes will be overseeing the kitchen. Local readers may be familiar with Soseki, Chef Collantes’s ten-seat sushi restaurant.

“Even though our menu won’t be fine dining, we will have serious attention to detail, while making sure to keep the place fun.”
