Articulating his plan for a reported “four more Orlando-area stores before year’s end”, owner Jeff Perera states, “We’d love to be in the UCF/East Orlando area, the Maitland/Lake Mary area, the Celebration/Kissimmee area,” Perera says. “We are aggressively looking at locations, but nothing is inked yet.”
Spurring the expansion, is the brand’s recent partnership with 1337 Capital, “established by uBreakiFix co-founder Justin Wetherill, who started the 700-location device-repair giant in his bedroom.” The firm “specializes in investments across multiple sectors. The relationship began when a company employee entered the Pereras’ College Park bagel run.”
“He was just another customer from the neighborhood who saw we were open,” Perera explained to The Sentinel. “He came back the next day, said he had brought the bagels to work, everyone loved them.”
What Now Orlando briefly reached out to Mr. Perera to get the latest on potential locations and opening timeframes, but he had no updates to give on these developments.
