Former Bubbalou’s Bodacious BBQ Space Makes Way for New Concept

The Bubbalou’s Bodacious BBQ property in Apopka, which closed in Janurary 2022, was sold for $1.575 million to V3 Capital recently. According to a report from The Apopka Voice, the space is going to be leased to a group who is bringing us a brand-new Mexican restaurant called El Cielito Lindo.

The restaurant, which will be located at 1701 Rock Springs Road, will probably appear by the end of Q2, the report says. 

The El Cielito Lindo brand is connected to Habaneros Mexican Grill, which has locations in Longwood, Orlando, Oviedo, Sanford, and Winter Park.

According to the Division of Corporations, the owners of Habaneros Mexican Grill are Jorge Ibarra, Joel Salazar and Javier Salazar. What Now attempted to reach out to all three of the owners but have not heard back. 

Despite the loss of this Bubbalou’s Bodacious BBQ location, locals can dine at their other units on East Altamonte Drive in Altamonte Springs ​​and Conroy Rd in Orlando.
