Although the exact amount invested has not been released, Mercato Partners’ Savory Fund has announced the first investment of its second round will be in PINCHO, the popular Miami-based eatery that’s been serving award winning burgers and kebabs since 2010. Mercato Partners now owns the majority of the fast-casual brand.

What’s the partners’ first move upon securing this new investment? According to Savory Fund’s website, PINCHO’s existing 10 locations will soon be joined by 40 more.

“Straight out of Miami, the city that boasts an exciting mix of hip urban culture, laid-back seaside vibes, and Latin flare, comes PINCHO Burgers + Kebabs. Showcasing the uniqueness of South Florida, PINCHO creates the food you know with flavors you’ve never experienced,” shares Savory Fund’s website.

Formerly known as Pincho Factory, PINCHO is expected to bring some of those 40 new stores to Southern Florida, Texas, and Chicago. More importantly, Central Florida will soon get its own bevy of joints serving 100% fresh beef patties on a toasted brioche bun.

Although we don’t yet know when or exactly where PINCHO will land once it hits Central Florida, Nation’s Restaurant News reports Savory Fund plans to bring the eatery out of shopping centers and into a drive-thru format.

Tostones? Fried cheese? All we can say is, Orlando, get amped.
