“We don’t do Tex-Mex, we serve authentic Mexican food,” owner Rosario Nolasco tells What Now Orlando. “We serve our dishes as it’s typically served in Mexico: tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and burritos. We intend to serve quickly to people coming through after work, headed home, in a rush.”

Nolasco shares that the restaurant was her late husband’s dream and, in order to fulfill his vision, the restaurant will encourage guests to donate to a yearly Thanksgiving meal, distributed to recent migrants and people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.

“Those who donate will have their contribution displayed on one of our walls,” Nolasco says. “It was always my husband’s vision to feed those who need it the most and we hope to do that every year.”

The 48-seat restaurant will be indoor seating only. Nolasco informs that no opening date has yet been set as they await inspections and permits.
