Known for authentic British fare, The Proper Pie Company is relocating their business. Owner Mark Edwards confirmed details with What Now during a phone interview on Thursday.
The new location will be at 520 US Highway 17/92 West, according to state filings. Edwards shared that the unit is still gray shell, and they are in the process of building out the inside.
Edwards did not have dates to share about when they will transition into the new unit or when the current 145 Ridge Center Drive location will close.
According to their Facebook, The Proper Pie Company has won “Best of Davenport” awards for three years running. They have been in business since 2008.
On their website, they describe the inspiration for their offerings: “Proper pies that were filled to the brim with the best quality meats, containing the right amount of gravy and completely surrounded by the finest pastry.”
A recent state plan review filing is “in process.”
