A health and fitness restaurant concept that was previously headquartered in Clifton Park, New York is moving to 1854 US Highway 1 in Rockledge according to the business’s Facebook page.
The Health Bar will be a 1,080 square-foot eatery designed to deliver fresh, healthy, and convenient meals and beverages in a beautiful, relaxing environment to customers on the Space Coast. The company stresses living a healthy lifestyle over a quick fix and encourages its fan-base to leave the planning and cooking to them.
Food at The Health Bar is freshly prepared, employing healthy cooking methods and high-quality ingredients that don’t contain preservatives, allowing customers to skip greasy or previously-frozen food choices when they’re on the go.
Beverages are made from natural, organic ingredients. Customers can enjoy a fruit smoothie like Forbidden Fruit–pink and white guava, passion fruit, strawberries and bananas or The Green Giant veggie fusion smoothie, which blends crushed pineapple, iron-rich spinach, kale, lemon, and banana. Guests can choose to add supplements like chia, flax, hemp seed, and more.
Whey-based protein shakes come in fruit, chocolate and vanilla blends, and can also be purchased as premixed pouches for home use. The Health Bar menu will include açaí bowls and avocado toasts as well.
Owners Fen Ireus and Amanda LaPage closed their Clifton Park location in June 2021 to move to Florida. The buildout of the new location in Rockledge is in the beginning stages, but LePage told What Now Orlando that they hope to be open sometime within the next three months.
