“In Hawaii when someone says “808” it ignites a feeling of happiness, comfort and Aloha,” according to the official website. The restaurant strives to feel everyone feel welcomed by serving an impressive list of foods and drinks that include a selection of delicious-sounding cocktails such as the Aku Aku that’s made with “Pineapple, Mango & Mint ‘Oh My!’ – “OH MOAI!” Plantation Dark Rum, Pineapple, Mango and Fresh Mint” or the Beachcomber’s Booty which is made with “Flor de Cana 4yr, Blackwell Jamaican, Papa’s Pilar, Fresh Lime, House Orgeat, Tiki Bitters and Absinthe.”

The food menu features their specialty pokes such as The Big Island Poke made with a combination of salmon, yellowfin tuna, tobiko and topped with a combination of fresh avocado, edamame, scallions, toasted black sesame seeds, served on a bed of white rice. Other specialties include Loco Mocos, Kalua Pork Sliders, Spam Musubi and more.

“At The 808 guests are transported to an old-school, laid back surf shack where the vibe is relaxed and everyone is welcome,” according to their official website. This is the fourth restaurant concept for the group that also brought Stardust Lounge, The Abbey and Aku Aku Tiki Bar and we can’t wait to visit The 808 too.
