“There’s a food truck project called the Riverwalks Project, tentatively set for December,” he tells What Now Orlando. “While technically it’s a food truck location, the “trucks” won’t be able to moved. We’ll be there for at least two years.”

Beyond the Port Orange project, Mr. Benedict confirms the official website’s information that states another location is in the works for Daytona Beach. That one, however, “won’t be open anytime soon.”

“On an Oktoberfest trip to Germany with family and friends, owner and founder, Michael Benedict, discovered the popular German ice cream sundae called “Spaghettieis,” a delicious noodle shaped ice cream formed to resemble spaghetti and sauce,” the official website’s backstory states.

“Upon returning to the States, Michael found this wildly-popular European dessert was unavailable in the area. His family’s longing for the perfect combination of spaghetti and gelato, and his dissatisfaction with its availability, inspired him to create a local version. Within months, “Spagato”– Italian for “dissatisfied,” was born.”

“You owe it to yourself and your family to experience Spagato, an exquisite blend of special whipped cream and spaghetti gelato offering a deliciously rich taste and visual adventure. It will delight your senses and satisfy your cravings for a truly fun, unique and indulgent dessert.”
