Growing chain Playa Bowls will soon debut a Melbourne location at 2328 Citadel Way in Melbourne. The store will be run by Eric and Jennifer Myers of PB Viera LLC.

Playa’s healthy bowls are made with bases like açai, pitaya, coconut, chia pudding, and more. They come in varieties like Pura Vida (Pure acai topped with granola, blueberry, strawberry, honey), Hemp (Kale blend topped with granola, banana, blueberry, hemp seeds, agave), and Pink Power (Pitaya blend with vanilla protein topped with granola, banana, honey).
The menu also features smoothies and juices, with some locations offering coffee drinks as well (it is not yet known whether this includes the Melbourne location).
No opening date has been announced.
