Highly-awaited omakase concept Natsu is soon coming to 777 N Orange Avenue in Orlando, according to recent public records. The establishment, run by Xinsheng Xie of Seafood Dock in Gainesville, has been much-anticipated in local and even international media.

The Sushi Legend, a website which reports on upcoming sushi establishments across the world, listed Natsu as one of the most anticipated new sushi restaurants of 2023, alongside restaurants in New York, Vancouver, Zurich, and Port Melbourne, Australia.

What Now Orlando briefly reached Xinsheng Xie to ask when the restaurant would open. Xie simply said “not yet.”

In the meantime, readers can appetize themselves with one of the only published descriptions of the concept : “innovative, elegant, seasonal and use the finest ingredients available”, as ownership told Orlando Weekly.

No opening date has been announced.
