The establishment will total over 11,000 square feet, divided among a retail section and a warehouse that will serve as a theater for wine and mixology classes. The report details that the Winter Park City Commission waived distance requirements for The Generous Pour, which allows them to operate their retail liquor business within 300 feet of residential properties.

The Generous Pour aims to provide a distinct experience for the greater Orlando community by emphasizing the word generous. Their website features a pledge: “To offer a premier wine and spirits marketplace with a purpose in giving back.” The website also reveals that this is the first ever Certified B wine and spirits retailer. Certified B is a third party standard of ethics-based business.

According to the website, a fall 2022 opening is planned.

What Now attempted to reach the owners and has yet to hear back. Stay tuned for details.
