Centered mainly around lobster rolls, the company describes its customer experience on its official website: “Hauled right from the seas of Maine, the lobsters are immediately brought to a facility in Saco, Maine, where they are cooked simply and modestly.”
“Our lobster rolls are then prepared according to tradition. With no bells, no whistles, and no pretension. And we serve them with only the basics: Lemon. Butter. Mayo. Maybe a little celery. Nothing extra to distract you. Just enough to seduce you.”
What Now Orlando recently spoke to franchisee Dominick Chiuchiolo to get the full low-down on the upcoming development.
“I wanted a location in downtown Orlando. It’s on a busy intersection that I thought was a great spot.”
When asked about his initial motivation to become involved with the brand, Chiuchiolo offers a simple response.
“I just liked the concept, it’s a great concept. It’s a niche business — people love lobster rolls but they’re not very easy to find. I went to a similar restaurant when I was living in New York. After that, I started researching lobster rolls franchises and I found Mason’s and really liked what they were doing.”
His logic regarding the downtown location is similarly intuitive.
“I wanted a location in downtown Orlando. I just really knew that would be a great spot. It’s a busy intersection that I thought was a great spot.”
And when can readers expect the establishment to open?
“I don’t have a prospective opening date yet, but I would guess late summer as of now.”
