“We are very excited to add Maw’s Mountain Moonshine and the Adkins family to the Old Town Family.  Their locally-owned and operated Moonshine store is a perfect fit for what we strive to provide to our guests at Old Town,” exclaimed Thearon Scurlock, President and General Manager of the Old Town Entertainment District.  “With their exclusive family recipes of moonshine, our visitors will experience something very different from anything they have ever tasted and enjoyed before.”

“The Maw’s Mountain Moonshine retail location in the former Great Magic Hall space on Main Street in Old Town will offer a Taste Testing Counter to purchase a ticket for exclusive moonshine tastings, a Cocktail Making Counter to purchase a custom-made moonshine cocktail from a Maw’s Mixologist and retail shelves full of 40, 60, 80 and 100 proof Maw’s Mountain Moonshine mason jars for purchase.  Popular flavors include Apple Pie, Peach Cobbler, Blueberry Muffin and many more. Outdoor seating on the grassy knoll next to the store will also be a unique feature of the location,” the release states.

“When you walk into our store, you feel our country charm and can tell we are a family-owned business.  We put our hearts into every little detail,” explained Jhosette Adkins, one of the owners at Maw’s Mountain Moonshine.  “We have so much history and passion in what we do.  It’s a perfect blend with the feeling of Old Town.”

No opening date has been announced.
