According to a recent article in The Orlando Business Journal the local Adega Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse will be opening its second location at 7804 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway/U.S. 192 in Kissimmee, within the Formosa Gardens Village shopping center near Disney. The restaurant has recently signed a 10-year lease for the 9,000 square-foot space which previously held an Outback Steakhouse.
“I’m very excited to be part of the community in Osceola County,” owner Jean Ricardo Oliveira said to The Business Journal. “We intend to have a marketing campaign [to court tourists] and we also have a lot of existing customers who live near the new store.”
According to the report, Oliveira said that after “having built up a strong clientele for the restaurant’s first location, a second site will allow the concept to court tourists in the robust Disney-area corridor and build another loyal customer base of local eaters on the west and southwest sides of the Orlando metro.”
Readers unfamiliar with the concept can expect a “fusion of traditional Gaucha-style cooking and modern steakhouse elegance, according to its website, and has an extensive menu with several kinds of roasted meats, appetizers, sides and a robust salad bar.”
Though no official opening date has been set, the new restaurant is reportedly projected to open in Q1 2024.
