Expect the brand to debut in the Sunshine State at 906 E State Rd 434, where it will near other business like Rookies Cantina, Shiraz Market and King’s Wok III. Martone said that they are still completing construction on the space and will wrap up soon. He hopes that licensing and approvals from the city come quickly, so that he can open in the latter half of June.

When asked if Martone plans to continue expanding through central Florida, he responded: “Oh, absolutely.” Though he doesn’t have specific plans to announce, Martone commented, “I’d love to plant one in Lake Mary, and I’d like to see what we can do down in the Orlando area.”

The brand, which was founded in North Carolina, has five locations in the state. They are known for serving Hersey’s ice cream in warm, made-to-order waffle cones.

“We do a lot of community engagement,” Martone said. They frequently host fundraisers in which they donate a day’s sales to charity. Along with this, they support law enforcement with a first responder’s day at their stores each year.
