“Executives for Huey Magoo’s noted two new drive-thru stores in the works locally — in Longwood, at 1022 W. State Road 434, and in the Lake Nona area, at 9470 Narcoossee Road — and the potential to triple the volume of restaurants here, from 12 to around 35,” the report states.

“We’re in for permit [and] ready to start construction on our new corporate drive-thru store in Lake Nona,” CEO Andy Howard said to The Business Journal. “That will be where every franchisee from around the country trains. Right now, they’re coming to our story in Lake Mary where we train — but because of the success that we’ve had with drive-thru, we want to have a corporate store with a drive-thru.”

“We actually are thinking about moving to Lake Nona on the corporate office side, to be closer to where that training center is going to be.”

No opening dates for the upcoming locations have been announced.
