“I believe it’s a good location for us to set up, not too far from Lake Eola, so there will be a steady flow of traffic coming through,” franchisee Nixon Nguyen tells What Now Orlando.

When asked how to describe the budding chain to unfamiliar readers Mr. Nguyen offers a simple explanation.

“We serve milk tea from a Taiwanese company, and it’s very popular in the West Coast. We also serve one dessert that’s kind of like flan cake.”

Mr. Nguyen decided to franchise the brand for two simple reasons: “Because I know they are very popular and the tea is very good.”

Though no hard opening date has yet been set, Mr. Nguyen hopes it will happen in the earlier months of summer.

“We are coming up on final inspections soon,” he states.

Readers curious for a taste of Ding Tea may try the original Orlando location at 4680 Millenia Plaza Way, within Milennia Plaza.
