Cakes Pastries & More, a dessert shop, will soon open a Saint Cloud brick and mortar at 1037 New York Avenue, according to recent publications. The establishment is owned by Laura Figueroa, a longtime local baker.
Figueroa’s cakes are characterized by a versatile creativity; she has made edible 18-wheelers, baseball caps, and footballs and pokemon characters, among many other designs, ready for consumption. The brand’s Facebook also shows dense chocolate chip cookies and brownies.
It is not immediately clear what other offerings Ms. Figueroa’s Saint Cloud spot will offer. Needless to say, her establishment is sure to bring a sweet and colorful mainstay to Saint Cloud’s walkable downtown district.
No opening date has been announced.
