It is unclear when the new CAVA plans to open, but a commercial alteration permit was filed with Seminole County on January 25. The planned alterations are still unknown, but the proposed cost of the work is $175,000.

Since the CAVA Group acquired Zoës, they have been converting units across the nation. There are currently no CAVA locations in Florida, however, state-wide plan review filings reveal that several other Zoës are in the process of being converted.

The progress of the conversion is unknown, but with the approval of the plan review and the permit filing, development seems imminent. While this Zoës Kitchen is closed down, many of the other Zoës found in plan review filings are still operating.
