Mao Mao, an intimate 12-seat handroll bar, is slated to open by the end of the year.

Weekly reports that Mao Mao will be” similar in style to Mari in Hell’s Kitchen and offer Korean hand rolls with “fun” Japanese toppings and high-quality fish from its 12-seat bar.”

Little else information is available as Mao Mao does not appear to have a website. The concept will be found next door to another of Lin’s establishments, Susuru. Local readers may recall Lin’s work in the sushi genre when he ran the former Jade Sushi & New Asian.

No opening date has been set.
