Owner Derrick Turton spoke with What Now on Friday to confirm that World Famous House of Mac has two concepts in the works for central Florida. The Miami-based brand is renowned for its unusual takes on classic, well-known dishes.

The first location, which is perhaps a month or so from opening, will be located at 2435 S Orange Ave. According to Turton, the unit just received its permits to place signage. The building at the address was a former Pizza Hut location, and Turton mentioned that it will be a fairly quick process to convert the space to House of Mac’s needs.
The other location is still very much in the works. It will mostly likely be near Lake Eola, but an exact address is unknown. As Turton reports, they are still nailing down the right location.
This unit will be different from the quick service and take-out focused Orange Ave outpost. Turton expects to bring Lake Eola a more full-service dining experience, in which people can sit and be served. An opening date for this location is not available at this time.
