“We’re wrapping up permitting and finalizing a little bit of construction,” owner Jose Villafana-Sitiriche tells What Now Orlando. “This will be the biggest location, and we’ll be able to hold a lot more people, eventually with a special events space on the second floor. It’s really beautiful on the inside.”

Mr. Villafana-Sitiriche adds that the bottom floor will be around 3600 square feet and that there will be limited outdoor seating.

“There will definitely be changes here. We will have food, and a small menu, but with pretty good offerings,” he states. “We’ll have pretzels, sandwiches, and charcuterie, for example. We’re calling the menu “bites”. It’ll fill you up, but we just won’t be doing steak and mashed potatoes. Eventually, we are going to be expanding our menu.”

When asked about his rationale behind the downtown Leesburg spot, Mr. Villafana-Sitiriche expresses enthusiasm about the town’s promising future.

“We feel like the historic downtown of Leesburg is really changing, especially with the recent opening of an Irish pub and a steak restaurant a few months ago. We see a lot of construction and development and we feel it’s going to be another happening area,” he states.

“We like the growth happening there and its proximity to a major highway. We actually purchased the building for a reasonable price in today’s crazy real estate market—though we have put a lot of money into renovating.”

When asked what makes Wolf Branch different from other area breweries, Villafana-Sitiriche makes clear distinctions.

“We’ve always liked to make beer for the people. If somebody comes up and says ‘hey, can you make a pickled gose”, we’ll do it. We include our patrons in everything, we have a robust founders program. We’re veteran owned and family oriented.”

Until the Leesburg location finally opens its doors, readers can find locations in Eustis and Mount Dora.
