The growing smoothie and health-food fast-casual brand, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, will soon be opening an Orlando location at 5328 Central Florida Parkway, according to recent public records. The location will be run by Shahjada Iqbal via Nextsteps 786 LLC.
“This will be my first location,” Iqbal tells What Now Orlando.
When asked about his motivation for franchising a TSC location, Mr. Iqbal states, “Overall, the brand has a good following and a pretty easy menu to manage. It also allows for absentee ownership.”
“As I have a full-time job, I’m hoping to run it part-time,” he adds.
Mr. Iqbal’s favorite menu item, for indecisive or curious readers, is the hummus wrap.
Narrating their mission on their official website, the company states “We work with suppliers that make us a force for good. Our commitment to responsibly sourced, safe and quality ingredients means more than just delicious food and smoothies; it means we can Inspire Better and spread sunshine all around.”
“It looks like we should be open around September 6,” Mr. Iqbal adds.
