“If you would have asked me six months ago, I would have said by Thanksgiving [2021],” Ligouri told What Now Orlando when asked for an update on the opening Friday.

Citing supply chain issues, Ligouri is still hesitant to give a firm opening date.

“Things are getting a little better here lately… My equipment is supposed to be coming soon. I hope to have my furniture here soon… Unfortunately a lot of this stuff was supposed to be here before the holidays,” Ligouri said.

The Hangry Bison will appear in The Exchange, a new construction project in the heart of Downtown Winter Garden that will be a central mixed-use building adjacent to City Hall.

Boasting a 4,100 square foot interior, the new Winter Garden unit will also have a near 2,000 square foot patio.

Guests can expect to see similar specials, Whiskey Wednesday’s, Hangry Hours and Acoustic Thursdays, at the new location on 250 West Plant Street. However, Ligouri aims to offer brunch, an additional night of live music, and an expansion of their catering offerings in the anticipated location.

Ligouri is hopeful that the plans will come to fruition soon: “It’s moving along… We’re getting real close.”
