According to recent reporting in Orlando Weekly, Winter Park’s The Glass Knife will open a second location early next year.
“Though the dessert haven — renowned locally for pastries, extravagant cakes and coffee — has been expanding local waistlines for nearly seven years at its current Orlando Avenue location, the restaurant now has some expanding of its own to do,” the report states.
The new location will be found at 212 N. Park Ave in Winter Park, in the spring of next year.
“The Glass Knife is more than cakes and a café. It’s a tradition and spirit borne by a golden era. Inspired by a loving mother and hobbyist baker whose talents transformed her baking into a true creative profession. Fostered through a collection of family and friends. Irreplaceable tales of togetherness and the communal magic of baking,” the official website states.
No opening date has been announced.
