Nora and Anshu Jain, who are as genuine Indian as their dishes, already have two Tabla locations, one in Orlando and one in Winter Park.

The delightfully friendly Nora Jain, who came to the United States to go to college (and then met her husband and got married) said it is actually their beloved white English Labrador Retriever, Enzo, who is responsible for them deciding to open a third location in Lake Nona.

She and her husband, Anshu, who came to the United States as a small child, were looking for someplace to eat outdoors with Enzo during the worst of the pandemic. Many places won’t accept dogs. They loved the Lake Nona part of Orlando and knew it was very dog-friendly.

Lake Nona, they decided, is where they would open their third location. And put in a pet-friendly patio. In fact, they would make the outdoor seating areas in all their restaurants a place where pets are welcome.

Hmm. It’s true. Every dog really does have its day (thanks to Enzo).
